Introduction
The UV 1000 detector is a time-programmable, variable-wavelength UV/Vis (ultraviolet/visible) absorbance detector. It operates in single-wavelength mode in either the UV range (using a deuterium lamp), or in the visible range (with an optional tungsten lamp). The UV 1000's optical system has a novel, high light-throughput design that provides high sensitivity detection along with maximal application versatility. The UV 1000 detector can be upgraded to a UV2000.
